General Manager

Location: Camp Hill, Pennsylvania

As Camp Hill Service Center General Manager, responsibilities include the operating profitability and growth of Vantage Foods’ business in the Camp Hill Service Center. As a member of the Senior Management Team, you are expected to contribute: in developing, directing, and implementing initiatives that align with the strategic direction for continued growth and success; actively participate in quarterly senior management meetings; build and maintain positive working relationships with all members of the senior management team; and complete projects as assigned by the team from time-to-time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet the Company’s overall vision, including the Purpose, Brand Promise, and Core Values
  • Ensure effective food safety and product handling protocols and practices are in place and followed
  • Effectively manage and ensure positive employee relations to promote an engaged workforce
  • Ensure workplace safety guidelines are in place and followed by all management and operating staff
  • Ensure Vantage’s management ‘rhythm’ is implemented and managed effectively in the Camp Hill Service Center
  • Manage the ongoing relationships with the management teams of our existing Camp Hill Service Center customers. Deal with any issues to ensure customer satisfaction and maintenance of a solid business relationship
  • Accountable for the ongoing commitment and results in effective performance management, employee development, and continuity management within the Service Center. In this capacity, ensure effective succession planning and cross-training of staff is established and implemented by the organization

Your Skills and Competencies

  • A demonstrated track record of delivering solid business results in a way that encourages teamwork and employee engagement
  • A thorough understanding of process creation and improvement will be required to be successful in this position
  • Must be able to understand and demonstrate how Vantage’s core values can be delivered on a daily basis, within a fast-paced, customer-driven operating environment
  • A focus on results, a bias for action, and an effective personal leadership style will be necessary
